Issue
I'm a new web developer. I learned web development online. I recently got my first project and I don't know in which format should I deliver the files or how should I arrange them.
Solution
An Easy Way to deliver the Project in one zip file. if the project is static front-end then arrange files as follow:
- Put all HTML pages in one folder named pages
- Put all JS file in one folder named JS
- Put all CSS files in a folder named CSS or styles
- Put Images and videos in a folder named Assets
- If you are using some UI images better put them in a separate folder named UI
- Finally Keep home page file in root directory of project folder and zip folder using any tool you have
if you have a Full Stack project then keep all Front End files as Mentioned above. Keep your server files in a separate folder named back-end. If using NodeJs be sure to delete node modules folder. Now zip whole project as one and send it to client. be sure to clear Your Payments first, TBH.
